Mission Statement
Assistant Principal's Corner
It has been a pleasure to get to meet some of you, and I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself to those of you who I have not had the pleasure to meet.
My name is Stephanie Nieves, and I joined the Benjamin Franklin Family on July 1, 2020. I have previous experience as a Spanish teacher, Staff Developer and Middle School and High School Assistant Principal.
I wanted to let you know two, of many ways, in which I would love to connect with the parents and students in our BEN Franklin Community.
1. I can help you if you have a technology concern. I will be adding important links at the end of my post.
One reminder: Due to the Pandemic and the unusual start to the school year, we are sending home many important correspondences via BlackBoard. I ask that if you have updated your email address or phone number that you please email me, at your earliest convenience, with:
1. your student's first and last name
2. your updated email and or phone number.
I can be reached at Stephanie.Nieves@edison.k12.nj.us.
School Counselor's Corner
We know that this has been a difficult time for everyone and we wanted to provide you with a resource to help you as you and your family navigate Covid-19 and the ongoing effects of the Pandemic.
Emotional Health Guidance for Parents to help their students during this time.
Dear Ben Franklin Families,
The Anti-Bullying Bill of Rights Act (P.L.2010, c.122) requires that the week beginning with the first Monday in October of each year (October 5-9 in 2020), be designated as a “Week of Respect” in New Jersey. To celebrate this week, we have many great activities and programs planned to support the social and emotional development of our students.
Please support our Week of Respect by helping your child participate in the daily events listed on this page. Thank you for your continued support!
Ms. Kole
