LOVE CAN BUILD A BRIDGE
As we make final preparations in opening the 2020-2021 school year, the linked reflection and Chaplet of Divine Mercy from renowned musician, Steve Angrisano, expresses the necessity to rely on God, not our own merits. As we work for Him and through Him, we know that He will honor the work and sacrifice done in His name for our students.

Academic Updates from the Dean
Please complete the MEC courses listed in “Assignments” in the SLCHS Team by August 10. Check out this update in Teams. Please follow these guidelines when setting up your class Teams. Don’t forget to record all of your summer PD webinars, virtual conferences, Microsoft Educator Center courses, to the “Selected PD” portion of the e-journal in the Assignments tab in the SLCHS Team!
All teachers must meet with Emily, Mary, or Melanie to set up Teams and plan for Q1. If you haven’t met with them yet, please check your email for the appointment calendar.
Check out the master schedule by clicking here. As with everything in 2020, this is subject to change!
Please fill out this survey so that we can assess your needs at the beginning of the year.
Please review the 2020-2021 Policies which includes wording for your syllabus.
On Fridays, TOPS-qualifying courses should plan for about 30 minutes of work (similar to last year's remote learning) - we suggest using this time for reteaching or adding ACT practice to your lessons. Check out this document for more details about the courses that will provide these lessons. This day will give you extra time for planning, grading, and professional development opportunities all while at home!
Please review the updated Q1 calendar to reflect the 4-day week schedule and new dates for progress reports and end of the quarter.
