Parkview Bands Receive Top Honors at the Georgia Music Educators Association LGPE
Our Band Students continue the tradition of excellence! On Friday, March 13th we took our concert bands to the GMEA District 13 Large Group Performance Evaluations at Paul Duke STEM HS! Our students performed at such a high level of musicality and artistry and their accolades reflect the quality of the work that these kids put in daily. All the ensembles earned a rating of a superior; which is the highest rating any ensemble shall earn in the evaluation process.

2023 National Merit Scholarship Finalists
Congratulations to the three National Merit Scholarship Finalists from Parkview HS. We are very proud of all of your accomplishments and hard work. There will be 7,250 Merit Scholarship winners from a group of more than 15,000 finalists across the US. Good luck to you all!

Parkview Art Student Wins Multiple Awards
Congratulations to Farzana Faiza for receiving not one but two National Silver Key awards in the National Scholastic Art and Writing Awards! She is a two time AP art student receiving 5's on her AP portfolio's and just an all around funny and creative human.

Parkview's Wind Ensemble Will Play at the National Concert Band Festival
Our Wind Ensemble will be traveling to Indianapolis to perform at the Music For All National Concert Band Festival, presented by YAMAHA on March 31st! They are one of 24 bands performing. Over 600 bands applied to perform! They have worked very hard to receive this honor and we couldn't be more proud of their accomplishment. They will be having a send-off concert on March 28th at 6:30pm in the Parkview Cafeteria. This concert is a free event.

Parkview Track and Field Take 2nd and 3rd in the Fleet Feet All-Comers Series #3
On Thursday, March 23 the Panthers took to the track in the final Fleet Feet of the season. With many of the varsity competitors sitting out this meet because they are competing in the county meet on Saturday(March 21), the Panthers girls still pulled off a 2nd place finish and the boys a 3rd. Contributing to their success were these event winners:

Parkview Varsity Baseball Takes the Win Against Loganville
On March 23rd the View Boys took on Loganville at home and came out on top with a 12-8 victory. Logan Stripling led the team going 2-for-4 with two home runs and pitched 5 one-hit innings! The next varsity home game is Monday, March 27 against Newton. Come out and see the boys in action!
JV Boys and Girls Tennis Get the Win Over Central
The JV boys and girl's tennis team had an outstanding win over Central Gwinnett on March 20. The boys won 4-1. Winning for the guys- Vedarsh Mishra, Hashem Hasan, Justin Allen, Kavan Patel, MK Waliany, and Arjun Singh. The girls won 5-0. Winning for the girls- Absra Demissie, Caroline Hamilton, Amy Sanchez, Safia Pacheo, Veronica Gonzalez, Tanya Patel and Raey Henok.

Boys Lacrosse take on Grayson and Win
Congratulations to the boy’s lacrosse team in their 8 to 6 win over region rivals Grayson on March 21st. The leading scorer was Phillip Marshall with 5 of the goals.

Parkview's MCJROTC Hosted 1st Annual JROTC Fitness Stakes
Parkview High School's MCJROTC was excited to host 14 JROTC programs from across the county on March 3. Six Army, five Air Force, two Navy, and Parkview's Marine Corps JROTC competed. The teams competed in the 1st Annual JROTC Fitness Stakes, a competition of athletics and academics.

Ms. Jordan is a Registered Nurse and the Owner and Instructor at Health Connect Career Center.
Health Connect is a state-approved Certified Nurse Assistant(CNA) training school where individuals are trained and certified for entry level jobs as CNA's.
Ms. Jordan is a certified American Heart Association CPR instructor where she dedicates herself to deliver quality industry education to aspiring healthcare professionals.
She is also Co-Owner of Profashional Nurse, a nursing accessory product company.

The Attendance Office is where you can pick up your ADAP certificate and your Certificate of Enrollment after you order them on MyPaymentsPlus.
Course Registration for 2023/2024
Students are able to see their course requests for the 2023/24 school year through the Student Vue App. If a student/parent requested changes to classes on the paper registration sheet, they can check the StudentVue App periodically over the next two to three weeks to see that the change has been made. The Curriculum Office will be working on these requests over the next couple of weeks.
Please Be On Time Daily
- As a reminder, school begins at 7:15am. We are aware that traffic is heavy. Please leave home early enough to arrive to school and be in 1st period on time. Thank you for helping us have your student to school on time!
- If a student arrives to school after 7:30am, the student MUST check-in through the Attendance Office. If a student needs to leave school for any reason after arriving to school, the student MUST check-out through the Attendance Office. The Attendance Office is located inside the main building lobby.
Don't Forget Your Chromebook
Please remember to bring your FULLY CHARGED Chromebook Daily! It is important to have these everyday for class use.
Please Don't...
- Bring outside food or have it delivered to anywhere on the school grounds, but please do finish any outside food before you arrive on campus and enter the school.
- Have flowers/balloons/gifts delivered to the school, but please enjoy your celebration at home.
- Expect to check your student out after 1:30, but please do have your student bring a note first thing in the morning so they can get a pass to check-out before 1:30.
Please remember that school appropriate clothes are always required on campus.

The Parkview PTSA is proud to host this year's Baccalaureate.
Baccalaureate is an annual event, leading up to the week of graduation. All graduating seniors are invited for a one hour, non-secular ceremony celebrating their accomplishment. There will be guest speakers to inspire, motivate and encourage you as you take steps towards graduation.
It's Time to Write Senior Letters
It is time to start writing your letters to your favorite graduates! There is a long standing tradition at PHS, where friends and family members of our seniors write letters that they will receive at their senior breakfast.

We are accepting nominations for Officers for the 2023-2024 School Year. The officer positions open for 2023-2025 term are Vice President and Secretary. If you are interested in being an officer or committee chair for next school year, email PKVWPTSA@gmail.com. PTSA meetings are Tuesday nights, at least one week a month. Officer Elections will be held May 9, 2023 @ 7 pm.
