...for this free presentation in which filmmaker Aggie Ebrahimi Bazaz discusses her current projects, pertaining to questions around belonging for (im)migrant communites in the U.S. These projects include Como Vivimos, an observational portrait of a year in the lives of migratory farm-working families in California's Central Valley. Aggie will offer contextual information about her projects, share a few scenes, and engage in discussion with attendees.
Aggie is an Iranian American documentarian whose films explore issues of diasporic identity and migration. She currently serves as Assistant Professor of Filmmaking at Muhlenberg College and is part of the team producing Mi Casa My Home, a collaborative documentary project that sources stories about remittance homes around the world.
