Principal Update
Dear Parent(s), Guardian(s), & Students,
Merriest wishes this holiday season!
It is hard to believe we are nearly half way through another school year. Our students have just completed their winter bench-marking/assessments. They are showing so much growth already and we are excited to see how much more they will learn in the new year. Thank you for supporting good learning habits at home. During the winter break, please set some goals to:
- read daily
- practice math facts
- utilize some of our online programs found under 'students' on our website
- and enjoy the outdoors and your friends/family
See you back in school on Monday, January 7th!
Mrs. Berg
THANK YOU to everyone for...
- supporting and giving to 3 local families with gifts for their whole family
- donating $745.60 through our Penny War to purchase gifts for local senior citizens
- 92 donated jars of peanut butter or jelly for our local food bank
- to the Classic and Antique Boat Society/Payette Chapter for their $1000 donation to sponsor 20 of our students for winter swimming lessons
- to Cheap Thrills for donating 24 life jackets to our students
- and to our 2 school Elves, that simply reminded us of our school expectations and brought smiles to our faces daily this past month!
We sure have a lot to be thankful for and our students loved learning about the spirit of giving {and receiving}!
