Howell To Host It's 4th Annual First Responders Night
This Friday, October 12th will be a special night not only for Viking fans but also for first responders and the community. The highly anticipated game will be the 4th Annual "First Responders Night." The theme for the game on Friday is "Red, White, & Blue." All Howell and Holt fans are encouraged to wear red, white, and blue to the game to show their support. All first responders and military personnel in uniform or with an ID will be admitted to the game for free. The game will also serve as a fundraiser for the Backstoppers. An evening of events has been planned to honor the great men and women that serve as First Responders and those that defend our country in the military.
A list of events and activities for the night is listed below. We encourage the entire Howell community to come out and support not only the Vikings but the great men and women we are honoring as we look to raise money for the Backstoppers. The past three years the Howell community has raised nearly $6500 at First Responders Night.
**Please note that this has been the largest attended football game the past three years. It is strongly recommended to arrive early and to purchase your tickets immediately upon arrival to avoid lines just before game time. Youth Spectator Guidelines Reminder
As we begin several consecutive weeks of "Friday Night Lights" the FHSD would like to remind all parents and students of our youth spectator guidelines that are in place to ensure the safety of students and fans at all FHSD events.
All students and children currently enrolled in the eighth grade and younger must be accompanied and directly supervised by an adult to be admitted to or remain at the event. Students and children are expected to remain under the supervision of the adult that they are attending the event with.
Youth spectators as described above will not be admitted to the stadium without a designated adult. Any youth spectators without a designated adult will be held outside the stadium until their parents come to pick them up or accompany them into the game.
Accompanying adults are asked to maintain diligent supervision of those youth spectators for which they have assumed responsibility the entire contest. Any youth spectators found to be without adult supervision will be returned to the adult(s) they came to game with. If their adults are unable to be found, they will be held outside the stadium until a responsible adult comes to pick them up or accompany them back to the game.
