Mark Twain, whose real name was Samuel Langhome Clemens, he was a great American author and humorist and very funny.
Mark Twain he wrote '' A dog's Tale'' the story of a loyal dog who saves his master's baby from fire then watches the man kill his puppy in a scientific experiment a strong if unsubtle argument against vivisection
Clements grew up in Hannibal, Missouri that the only two places he considered home, wich he located along the shore of the Mississippi River.
In 1859 he received his pilots license
What inspired Mark Twain is to be a pilot. He became a licensed riverboat pilot, where he learn of the riverboat term '' Mark Twain'' that crewmen called out to indicate ''two fathoms'' Clemens adopted the term as his pen name while he beginning to incorporate the Mississippi River as a significant component of his novels
