Community of Schools Administrator Message
March 2022
Greetings! I hope this message finds you and your loved ones well. I would like to quickly acknowledge that our schools have made a smooth transition from the operational demands brought on by COVID to a renewed focus on instruction. We will continue to support our schools to help our teachers and students realize their full academic potential.
Once again, thank you for your continued partnership in supporting our students and schools.
Thanks!

Social Work Month March 2022
NASW highlights historical contributions of Social Workers who have played key roles in the Civil Rights and Women’s Rights movements and pushed for social programs. The social work profession attracts people who have a strong desire to help individuals, families, communities, and our nation overcome issues that prevent them from reaching their full potential.Social workers are represented in hospitals, mental health centers, coorporations, the military, government and school sites. LAUSD Psychiatric Social Workers form a part of the interdiciplinary team at school sites offering crisis support, access to mental health services, education and training for staff and students on matters related to relationships, communication, problem solving and trauma or other mental health related needs.
