Festival Wrap-Up
The High School Band earned straight 1's from the judges for their emotional performance on stage and their exceptional performance in the sight reading room. They earned an overall rating of 1 and qualified for state.
The 8th Grade band earned a 1-1-2 on stage and a 1 in sight reading for an overall rating of 1. They also qualified for state.
The 7th Grade band earned a 2-2-2 on stage and a 1 in sight reading for an overall rating of 2. For their first time performing at a high-stakes festival, they did great!
We are so proud of these kids! They worked hard and every band represented the high standards Berrien Springs is known for.
Thank you to all the parents that chaperoned, helped with uniform emergencies, and hauled instruments for us. We appreciate your hard work!

It is such a pleasure to teach your children. These kids overcame crazy schedules, snow days, music changes, and other conflicts to create 3 superb performances. We have a fantastic group of musicians. Thank you for letting them be a part of this program.

Marching Band 2019
Current HS members and 8th grade band members: mark your calendar for July 22-26. This is our required band camp week. We will be learning our music, marching techniques, and marching drill that week.
The marching band handbook and calendar will be distributed before spring break.
No Band Booster meeting this Monday, March 11th.
