Principal's Message
Another great week for Whitehouse Junior High School. This week was the start of our 2nd Nine Weeks. Your student should have brought home a report card yesterday, Thursday October 25th. If your child is struggling in a class, especially a core course, I encourage you to get them involved in tutorials now. By engaging in tutorials at the beginning of a nine weeks, students become proactive in their learning. This goes along with the November Potrait of a Graduate (POG) Character Trait to be a "Self Directed Learner."
WJHS Site Based Decision Making Committee - We are looking for a couple of Parents and community members interested in serving on our site based decision making committee. We meet 3-4 times throughout the year, to discuss and review campus goals.
Next week is the WJHS Red Ribbon Week. Read below in the section title "RED RIBBON WEEK" for more information on student dress up days. Halloween coincides with one of our Red Ribbon Week days, please be sure to read below for information on dress for that day and the rest of the week.
