what is the Industrial Revolution
the industrial revolution took place from the 18th to the 19th hundreds. in rural societies like Europe and the Americas became industrial and urban.the industrial revolution began in the 1700`s in Britain. manufacturing often was done in peoples homes.industrialization marked a shift to powered special purpose machinery. the steam engine and other iron using industries played central roles in the industrial revolution,witch also helped in transportation communication and banking. the industrial revolution living increased and for some they had a grisly living.
inventors in the industrial Revolution
Alexander Grahm Bell was a famouse inventor for the telephone. Alexander was born in 1847 and became known as the inventor fore the telephone. he worked at a school for the deaf while attempting to create a device that would transmit sound by energy. he was granted a patent in march 1876 though he would face years of legal challenges in the future. another inventor was named Thomas Edison. he was born February 11 1847. he invented the light bulb. he rose from hunting to become an inventor of major technology. he died October 18 1931. one last inventor was named Henry Ford. Henry did not invent the assemblyline OR the car. But he did reshape the car for the 20th centuary. born July 30 1863.

in colonial America child labor was not a subject of controversy.it was an integral part of the handy craft economy.children not only worked on the family farm they were hired on other peoples farms as ranch hands.boys began their apprentice ship at age 10 to 14. both types of child labor declined in the 1900`s. ultimately young women and immigrant adults replaced these children in the textile factory.in 1900 18% of all Americans under 16 were working. education renformers in the 1900`s` thought it was necesary for children to go to school.
The Assembly Line
on December 1 1913 Henry Ford created the first moving assembly line. he needed a faster way to make his new model T car because every one wanted one. the assembly line would shorten the car making from 12 hours to 30 minutes. Henry was trying to increase his factorys production for years. Ford broke down the car into 84 steps. in February 1914 he added a mechanized belt that chugged along at a speed of 6 feet per minute. Henry reelized that machines were faster than man so eventualy he switched them out.
