How Did He Promote Peace?
John Lennon promoted peace in several different ways. He would write songs about how the world should be peaceful, and imagine what life would be like if it was peaceful instead of wars. Some of songs were "Give Peace a Chance" and "Imagine." Another way he promoted peace was through "bed-in's." He and his wife, Yoko Ono, would stay in bed for an entire week. They did this on several occasions. Once after their marriage in March 1969, and again in that same year in June 1969.
