Theme for the Year
At St. Joseph Catholic School, each and every day we are training students to be missionary disciples, and learning to recognize God in our lives and in the world around us,
full of HOPE for the future.
Our Mission and Vision Statements
Mission:
St. Joseph Catholic School provides students with a nurturing and prayerful learning environment committed to academic excellence, training missionary disciples to seek virtue, wisdom, and truth, in partnership with a community of active and faithful families.
Vision:
Catholic schools in the Diocese of Fort Worth are committed to opening the doors so that our students can reach further than the walls that would otherwise enclose them and therefore are able to recognize and cherish the eternal and transcendental goods of Truth, Beauty, and Goodness.
Motto:
Teaching the Mind...Nourishing the Soul
From the Principal
This week we had two special visitors to St. Joseph Catholic School! Representative David Cook and Bishop Michael Olson! Fr. Ronaldo and I were honored to show Mr. Cook our lovely school and to host a small gathering of families to meet with him to discuss the topic of Education Savings Accounts. Bishop Olson was there to support our school and to support the work our diocese is undertaking with the Advancement Foundation to promote our Catholic schools. Go, Knights!
In Christ's service,

Lunar New Year
Monday Morning Prayer Service
What a beautiful Lunar New Year celebration! These preschool students worked so hard to prepare for this prayer service with the guidance of Mrs. Do and all of the support of our parents. We even had help from our upper school leaders of the Class of 2024! Thank you all. God is good!
Preschool Mardi Gras Float Parade
What an awesome Mardi Gras parade! The entire school enjoyed the parade as our preschool Knights moved throughout the building to start off Fat Tuesday for the community. Well done, Knights!
Upper School Mardi Gras Breakfast
With the help of parent Mrs. Fitzpatrick and many other parent volunteers, the upper school enjoyed their Mardi Gras Breakfast. Thank you to all the food that was donated. A huge thank you to McDonald's for making this so special for our Knights!
8th Grade American Way Awards Received
Lenten Monday Morning Prayer Service
Mrs. Hess and her Drama Club students beautifully represented each moment remembered of Christ's passion as we prayed the Stations of the Cross together this past Monday. Thank you for helping us more deeply meditate on the suffering of Christ.
Altar Server Ministry
Our Ash Wednesday Mass was so very meaningful for the community. Thank you, Knights, for serving in this way. You are appreciated!
Thank you to these altar servers for giving of their time in service to the parish and school community. You are special to us. You have chosen to serve. Thank you.
In the Library This Week
Displays Across Campus
All across campus and inside classrooms, one will find the beauty and effort of our Knights on display. From individual expression to academic research, our students know how to give their best.
7th Grade - Then and Now
How sweet are these photos of our 7th grade Knights, from early childhood to the students we are so proud of today.
Chess Club Meets Again!
Today was the first day for Chess Club. Looks like these Knights are happy to have this club return, thanks to the help of parents, Mr. Duy Phan and Mrs. Katie Murphy (not pictured), and faculty member, Mrs. Gallagher for making this possible. Go, Knights!
Basketball This Week
Last Friday night, our teams playing at home showed some awesome talent and true sportsmanship! I was so proud of how they played and how they carried themselves. Well done, Knights!
It was the last home game for our 8th grade Knights and Lady Knights this past Friday. Each were presented with a celebratory balloon as their name was announced. We even had the boys sharing a kind moment by presenting the Lady Knights with a flower. These athletes have much to be proud of for they have represented our school well for so many years.
In Technology This Week
This week in Technology, these Kindergarten Knights played detectives and found different parts of a computer based on clues given to them. Clever way to learn some important basics, Knights!
