A Message from the Student Services/Admissions Department
Beginning March 4th, our open enrollment period is currently underway, with applications being accepted on a first-come, first-served basis for enrollment in our Fall term programs. Prospective students keen on exploring our campus firsthand and engaging with our Admissions team are encouraged to attend our Informational Sessions, held twice weekly on Tuesdays at 9:30 a.m. and Thursdays at 1 p.m.
At Cape Coral Technical College, we are dedicated to addressing the needs of our students. Alongside our rigorous academic offerings, we provide Financial Aid and Career Placement services to facilitate your educational journey and transition into the workforce seamlessly.

Alumni Spotlight
Nia Sotov – Digital Design – 2020 Graduate
Cape Tech Digital Design program grad Nia Sotov stopped by recently to share her career journey with our current students. After graduating from CCTC, she worked as a graphic designer in the Marvel division with the Upper Deck company in California. Many of her Marvel card designs will hit the market this year! Nia and her husband also own a successful graphic arts and design firm called Camnia Studio, and she recently accepted a position as the Senior Graphic Designer for Fanatics. Her personal story and insights on design and branding strategy are inspirational!

The HIRE program (How I Reach Employment) serves as a bridge between students and the multifaceted dimensions of technical college life, industry-recognized credentials, and prospective employment pathways. This initiative is strategically crafted to facilitate students' seamless transition into their professional futures. Specifically tailored as a postsecondary non-degree seeking transition program, HIRE caters to students with intellectual disabilities, offering a unique opportunity to partake in immersive, hands-on learning experiences and attain industry-recognized certifications across a diverse spectrum of fields.

Notification to parents regarding out-of-field teachers
Florida State Board Rule 6A-1.0503(3) recognizes that teachers at times must be assigned duties in a class outside the field in which the teacher is certified. CCTC does not currently have any teachers teaching out-of-field.
Notification of the presence of asbestos-containing materials in the school
This school has been recently inspected and certain asbestos-containing materials or assumed asbestos-containing materials such as: fire doors or roofing materials that are tested prior to repairs or removal as needed, have been located in the school buildings. Please be aware that the School District of Lee County has an active management plan designed to ensure that the building is maintained safely for all occupants. These materials are being controlled in accordance with the Asbestos Management Program for the School and following the limitations and procedures of the policies and requirements of the Asbestos Operations and Maintenance Program of the School District of Lee County.
