Information for Sophomores and Juniors
- Parking spaces for 2024-2025 will go on sale the last week of April/first week of May. They are $75.00 each. Students will register and purchase through MySchoolBucks. Upcoming seniors (Class of 2025) will have access on MSB beginning Monday, April 29, at 6:00 p.m., and upcoming juniors (Class of 2026) will have access on MSB beginning Wednesday, May 1, at 6:00 p.m. Sophomores are not eligible to drive to school.
- Because driver information must be entered into MSB when the purchase is being made, it is recommended to use a browser (e.g., Chrome, Safari, Firefox, etc.) to access MSB instead of using the app.
- Be sure to check that the MSB transaction goes through and you receive an email receipt, as the email receipt is your proof of purchase.
- Students who park on campus must be part of Project ID.
- Completed Project ID forms should be returned to the AHS office.
- Only one reserved parking space will be sold per family/household.
- Please review the AHS Student Handbook section titled “Parking on Campus” on page 19 for additional parking procedures and expectations.
- Please make sure your online school registration is complete prior to attempting to purchase a parking spot (the window for returning student registration closes April 8).

Reminders from Previous Weeks
- AHS Mascot Team Fundraiser: Support Dear Ole’ Auburn High’s favorite Tiger, Samford, by purchasing a short sleeve or long sleeve shirt, crewneck sweatshirt, or hoodie! (All products will be gray in color with the Glory, Glory image.) Shirts are available on MSB through Friday, April 26. All proceeds go toward sending the AHS Mascot Team to UCA camp this summer. Go Tigers!
- The Sheet's Poetry Competition: The Sheet, AHS’s literary and art magazine, is hosting a poetry contest in celebration of Poetry Month, starting April 1 and going through Friday, April 26. The theme is “Down the rabbit hole,” and the poem MUST have a rabbit. Students can submit to the QR code in the flyer [or on social media]. Please see Mrs. Muschara in room 1343 with questions.
- AHS Photo Collection for AHS End of the Year Video: As a final goodbye to the 2023-2024 year, AHS Mass Media is making a video to show off the best of what Auburn High School has to offer. Students can submit videos and photos from class, sporting events, club events, etc. that will be compiled into a video that will be uploaded to YouTube and also played at graduation on the video board.
- Please use this link to submit photos and videos.
- Theatre AHS Presents A Midsummer Night's Dream: Theatre AHS will present William Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night's Dream Thursday, April 25, through Sunday, April 28. - AP Testing: AP testing begins Monday, May 6, 2024. Morning exams will begin at 8:15 a.m; afternoon exams will begin at 12:15 p.m. Please be prompt in your attendance! Once an exam has started, admission will not be permitted. Remember to bring standard wooden #2 pencils (not mechanical), and blue or black pens. If your exam requires the use of a calculator, make sure you bring an approved device with you. Calculators will not be provided by the test administrators. You may bring a light snack and drink for consumption at the mid-test break; however, the following items are prohibited and should not be brought into the testing environment: cell phones, Smart watches, tablets, laptops, and other mobile devices. Students are encouraged to check with their AP instructors for testing locations.
- Please note: Students needing to take a late exam—for ANY reason—must contact Mr. Tindell. A missed regularly scheduled exam does NOT automatically provide one with a makeup test. Regularly scheduled exams are completely different test forms than the late/makeup versions. Affected students should see Mr. Tindell to discuss the placement order for an alternate exam (regardless of reason); sitting for an alternate exam may incur an additional $40.00 fee. Good luck and best wishes on your AP exams!
- HOSA Guest Speaker: Students who requested the Health Science Hospital Internship program for the 2024-2025 school year are required to attend the April 24 HOSA meeting where Anthony Caldwell, Southern Union State Community College Health Science Dual Enrollment Coordinator, will speak about Dual Enrollment at SUSCC for CNA, EKG tech, and EMT.
- Don't Forget to Purchase a Yearbook: AHS yearbooks are on sale, and they can only be purchased at Jostens.com. AHS has sold out of yearbooks every year, so it's important that students order ahead to guarantee they get one.
