In the School
8th Grade Spanish:
8th graders reading biographies in Spanish of prominent Spanish-speakers on pajama day!
Art:
Art students have been working on drawings, Pinwheels for Peace, and printmaking during the first six weeks of school. We are currently wrapping up self-portraits and grid drawing portraits, which we will hang up in the middle school building. These MSMS artists are pretty talented and I'm excited to show off their artwork throughout the building!

Health Office
Parents/Guardians,
Since school has started, we have had multiple variations of pills being turned into the
health tech office at the middle school. This is a reminder to please not send your students to
school with medication of any kind, even over the counter. If your student needs medication, a
form can be filled out by you and your student’s healthcare provider and turned into the front
office, along with the medication in the original box with the student’s name on it. If you would
like this form, or have any questions, please email solson@mssd14.org. Thank you for your
understanding.

MSES Maniboo Halloween Carnival
Maniboo is a Halloween carnival that MSES does each year to promote community and fun. This fundraiser has traditionally brought together students from MSHS and MSMS to help support our littlest learners. This year the event will take place at MSES on October 28th from 4:30-7pm.
Elementary students come dressed in their Halloween attire and participate in carnival-like games.Games include activities like: fishing, ring toss, cake walk, fortune telling and face painting. We are open to new ideas too!
We are looking for 20-30 student volunteers to help us on October 28th in two hour increments from 4-6pm and 6-8pm.
Email Ms. Masone or Ms. Luggie for more information:
6th Grade Snack Sign-up:
6th graders eat lunch early, at 10:05am, so they tend to be hungry towards the end of the day. PAC is helping organize snacks for the 6th graders so they can focus on their afternoon classes. The big boxes of snacks they sell at Costco or Sam's are perfect. Please consider signing up using the QR code below.
Coffee Sign-up:
The PAC is coordinating K-Cup coffee donations for the staff of MSMS and MSHS and our Bus Drivers. Please consider signing up using the QR code below.
