Comparative Poem Analysis

Introduction
The two poems ill be writing about are Sleeping in the Forest and Ode to enchanted light and how the word choice and figurative language are placed and where and also how it is formed and structured.
Tone and word choice
The tone in Sleeping in the Forest is peaceful and light until the luminous doom in lines 15 to 18.Some word choice is "luminous doom she could have just said dark nut instead she choose to use a different word. In "Ode to enchanted light it is light and calm though out the whole poem.Some word choice is "latticework" instead of saying latticework she could have said big or lots but she used latticework to get her point across.
Figurative language
In the poem "Sleeping in the forest" one simile is i rose and fell as if in water grappling with luminous doom. Another simile is they floated light as moths among the branches of the perfect trees.A metaphor is "I slept as never before,a stone on a riverbed.In "Ode to enchanted light" one simile is "Drifting down like clean white sand.A metaphor is "The world is a glass overflowing with water.A alteration is "A cicada sends its sawing song hight into the empty air.
Form and structure
In "Sleeping in the forest" The lines are centered in the middle of the page.One stanza one paragraph.Only one sentence is rhyming its line 1 to 3. In "Ode to enchanted light" Their are uneven stanzas.Its free verse.Lines 10 to 12 have a rhythm.
Conclusion
Both poems were light and calm.Both poems have a simile and metaphor.They also are about nature and how peaceful earth is.They are both how the earth is so calm.
