📲 Kuna School District app ready for you to download & log-in
Kuna families
The free Kuna School District "app" is ready for families and students to download and activate.
A one-stop place for Kuna families was the vision of the Superintendent's Advisory Council for many years. They have been among the early testers providing feedback and they love. (I use it, too!)
This app provides access to News, Alerts, Social Media, and Calendars from the school(s) you care about most.
Parents/Guardians can log in and get their student’s information such as grades, attendance, lunch balances, and more, all in one easy-to-use app.
This is your app and we want your feedback and suggestions for changes. Please email ksdcommunications@kunaschools.org (You can also submit feedback in the app!)

After downloading the App, you will see an icon that says "Parent/Teacher Login". The Login button will unlock information unique to your student(s).
All you have to do to login is click on the Google, Apple, or Facebook buttons or type in your email address or your cell phone number to receive a one-time access password.

🔎 Capital Plan Task Force reviews your feedback

The Task Force will meet again Nov. 3 to finalize its recommendations to present to the Board of Trustees on Nov. 8.

❓Questions, rumor mill: Middle school release time
"I see the middle schools are now released at 2:15PM M,T, Th, F to help get buses back to elementary schools on time. However, the buses are still leaving the middle/high school, at the same time as before. Since the high school releases later now, it doesn't make sense that the middle school would release earlier to accommodate elementary bus routes if they still have to wait for high school students and high school students are getting out later, instead of earlier. I watched the buses and middle school students were waiting until 2:30 or later, before the buses left. It seems like that 15 minutes would be better used in the classroom instead of playing outside waiting for buses."
The change in release time for our secondary buses has greatly improved our elementary pick up times and bus routes. Elementary schools are all being picked up routinely within 10 minutes allowing for earlier bus route times. Our FMS and KHS pick up times may seem to be delayed because of transfer buses that are arriving from SFHS and KMS. However, our secondary buses are leaving 15-17 minutes earlier than last year from KHS and FMS. This year, we listened to the feedback of having the same release times at both traditional high schools and middle schools for consistency and convenience of our parents.
