This Week in our Classrooms
Earlier this week, Mr. George (8th grade Social Studies) and Mrs. Smith (Media Specialist) teamed up for an engaging, hands-on activity around the Oregon Trail. Students built wagons, solved riddles about the trail, used scratch-offs to determine if they continued down the trail or faced a hardship, and played Guess Who to identify different landforms along the trail.
Reminder from our School Nurse
Per PLSD policy, medication must be delivered and picked up by a parent/guardian. Students should not be storing or transporting medication in their book bag. The correct paperwork must be completed and the medication needs to be in the original container and not expired. Please call (614) 830-2203 if you have any questions. Thanks!
Prescription medications
In the event your child needs to take prescription medication while at school, the Request for Administration of Medication by School Personnel form must be completed by the child’s physician and parents.
Nonprescription medication such as Advil, Tylenol, cough drops, etc. may be administered to students if the parent/guardian brings in the medication along with written permission for the medication to be given. All medications must be sent in the original container and must not be expired. Dosages cannot exceed the manufacturer’s recommendations for age and weight. We must have a note from the doctor to give a dose of medication that is different from the dose stated on the bottle.

Starting tomorrow, we have a Spring Sale that offers 25% off all merchandise. The sale runs through Tuesday, March 26th. If you missed our Grand Opening sale a few weeks ago, this is a great way to get some Lakeview swag at a great price! The sale also includes free shipping on orders over $60.
