Weekly Updates/ Reminders:
- Objectives should be posted for all subjects and referred to throughout your lesson
- Data Team Meetings begin this week! K-2 please bring your NWEA and Pathways data. 3-6 please bring your NWEA and latest comment assessment (ELA or Math) that is aligned to MO Standards. We will review and discuss these assessments.
- NWEA testing will conclude this week, we will begin make-ups on Monday. Please help us ensure that all of your students have been tested.
- On Tuesday September 12th at 9 am and 5 pm we will be hosting "Attendance Matters" information sessions for parents and families in the library.
- Midterms begin Wednesday, September 13th.
- ACTION: At least one grade per week must be entered for each core subject.
- Please ensure that you have shared your class on Dojo with each of your support teachers
- Saturday September 16, 2107, Wheatley will host "A Day in the Park" at Montgall Park, E. 22nd St. and Agnes from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Please look for details in the email from Ms. Farrell.

Restorative Justice Focus:
The 2×10 strategy is simple: spend 2 minutes per day for 10 days in a row talking with an at-risk student about anything she or he wants to talk about. There’s no mystery to the reasoning here, of course–the strategy builds a rapport and relationship between teacher and student, and lets the child see that you genuinely care about him or her as a person.

- No names over the radio
- Emergency consists of a fight, blood, student left the building
- Don't forget the 4:1 ratio of praise vs. redirection/negativity
- Don't forget to follow the flow chart
- You may want to pull out your flow chart and classroom vs. administration managed chart to help remind you
