APRIL 22ND: ASYNCHRONOUS LEARNING DAY FOR STUDENTS
Monday, April 22nd was originally scheduled on the MCPS calendar as a Teacher Work Day and a No School Day for Students. Because we went over our allotment of Snow Days, the day has been modified to count as a learning day for Students. It remains a Teacher Work Day, but Students will be participating in an Asynchronous Learning Day. This means that Students will be working independently from home with pre-prepared work sent home with them by their teachers. Assignments may also be posted in the Student's Chromebook on their Canvas page. There will not be any type of Zoom activity between Teachers and Students on this day. It will be an independent work from home day for Students.
If you have any questions about the function of this day, please reach out via email to your child's teacher to answer any of your questions.
Thank you!
¡Gracias!
AIR CONDITIONING IS ON IN THE BUILDING
Parents,
As the warm weather is upon us, the heat in the building has been turned off and the air conditioning is on! Due to the dynamics of our large building, the temperature may fluctuate from area to area. It may be cold in one area and warm in another.
Because of this, it is best to send your children to school dressed in layers so they can be comfortable in all parts of the building.
Our goal is to try to keep our students as comfortable as possible throughout the school day.
Thank you for your help!
Padres,
