communicating without words
baby learns to say little words, like dada
when the baby smiles it means they are happy, they cry to let you know that they are hungry or need a diaper change, or that they don't feel good.
baby says "coo" means they feel good.
babies then pay attention and listen to the voices around them.

sign language
sign language
-they can learn and communicate sign language before they speak. - babies start by communicating with sounds.
want to eat
-they hold their hands to their chest if they want more milk or crackers or they shake their hand in the air saying there done. - they sing that they're done eating is when they push their plate away.
class
-you can use sign language to communicate with your baby to better understand his needs and wants. - babies between 6-12 months start learning and remembering sings that parents teach them.
learing to speak
Play games with them like Peek-a-Boo or Pat-a-Cake.
baby learning words like "peek a boo and baba"
would like to play more with pat-cake or peek-a boo.
baby learn how to say a word
they would repeat the same word if you teach them the first time, like "dada".
teaching them words
- parents should talk to their babies, show them things and say what they are, so that the baby starts being familiar with what objects are.
development milestones
babbling
- babies start to make sounds and babbling words. They repeat the same sounds, that's how they get familiar with words and their sounds.
real words
- you can understand exactly what a baby is trying to say when they're about 8 and 15 months.
learning more and more
- babies start to recognize more sounds and what objects are and start making animal sounds. - each month babies learn more and new words.
reading teachers speech
- they learn this by parents reading them books and teaching them different sounds and their meanings or listening to stories in the radio.
