How long have you been in education?
I have been in education since 2011.
What is your top character strength?
My top character strength is compassion. As a student myself, I often had struggles and I had to work harder than my friends to receive good grades. This struggle gave me a great work ethic and an understanding into the difficulties that many students face. I think my compassion and my willingness to try and understand another’s perspective are my top character traits.
Why do you love this profession?
I love working with students and helping them to achieve their dreams. I also love learning. I consider myself a lifelong learner. In the teaching profession, every year, every day is different and that is a blessing because I get to constantly experience and learn new things. The world around us is dynamic and constantly changing. So are my interactions with students. Each day is different, exciting and filled with opportunities to learn new things.
