Welcome Back Eagles!
It's hard to believe that summer has come and gone, but we are eager for our Eagles to return to the nest. We are committed to continuing to strive to meet the diverse needs of our students, both academically and social-emotionally. We look forward to continuing to partner with our families in order to ensure that all of our Eagles S.O.A.R. this school year.
We understand that all of our Eagles had diverse school experiences during the last 18 months. We also recognize the variety of life experiences that many of our students faced. We empathize with all of our Eagles and their families regarding the feelings they're experiencing about the return to school. Please know that when our Eagles step foot in our building - we are one. We are one community of learners striving to S.O.A.R.
We're ready to welcome all of our Eagles back with open arms and the promise of brighter tomorrows. Our hope is to continue building upon the many traditions that make Ike such a great place to learn and grow!
Sincerely,
Keith Tonn

First Day of School Signs
Parking Lot Safety
For the safety of all students, we ask parents picking up and dropping off to follow posted arrows and traffic patterns. We also urge parents to park in designated parking spots and not block handicap spots. We encourage adults to walk students through the parking lot. It is also important that families are not parking or dropping off students in the bus loop. Your patience and assistance will go a long way in keeping our students safe.
Also, pursuant to state law and board policy, please do not use tobacco products on school premises. This includes the school parking lot.
Your assistance in keeping students safe is greatly appreciated!

Health, Safety, & COVID-19 Communication
We hope our Ike families are staying healthy. Fraser Public Schools' intention is to return to a normal school environment and routine for the 2021-2022 school year. Find the latest district communications regarding COVID-19 HERE.
Procedure when a student or staff member tests positive for COVID-19
When a student or staff member tests positive for COVID-19, he/she should notify the Macomb County Health Department at (586) 463-3750 during normal business hours. Additionally, families and staff members should contact the school administrator. The individual should stay home and isolate for at least 10 days from the first date of symptoms or 10 days from the test date if asymptomatic AND fever-free for 24 hours without the use of fever-reducing medications and improved symptoms.
Fraser Public Schools will be reporting all COVID-19 positive cases to the Macomb County Health Department (MCHD). The MCHD will investigate to determine if any additional students or staff should be quarantined. We will continue to work with our Health Department to support these efforts.
FPS Mask Policies
Masks are optional for all staff, students and visitors on campus. We will have masks available in all of our buildings for anyone who needs one. Fraser Public Schools encourages everyone who is not fully vaccinated to wear a face covering. Facial coverings are a safe, and proven strategy to prevent secondary transmission of this aggressive Delta variant in schools. Masks are primarily intended to reduce the emission of virus-laden droplets. They also help reduce inhalation of these droplets by the wearer. We ask everyone to respect each individual’s choice whether or not to wear a mask.
Masks must be worn on Fraser Public School buses. The CDC requires masks to be worn on school buses.
Health Screenings
Free Breakfasts & Lunches Continue

We will provide monthly calendars with scheduled meals as we have in the past, but families do not need to pre-order. Although note required, we do ask. that families complete the Lunch Application at www.LunchApp.com. By doing so you help ensure the school receives additional funding.
