Think Before You Share:
- Billing Information (credit card numbers)
- Addresses
- Telephone Numbers
- Parent's Work Information (Telephone Number or Address)
- Personal ID's.
- Any Medical History.
- Days You'll Be On Vacation.
- Photos Of Yourself.
You Should NEVER:
- Talk to people you don't know on social media.
- Download something such as an app that you might suspect is inappropriate.
- Enter a website that you might suspect contains inappropriate information.
- Click on those pop-ups that say things like: "You've won an iPad!" Let's be honest, you didn't actually win an iPad.
- Tolerate cyber bullying.
- Bully others.
- Post something you may someday regret.
To Protect Your Content Online You Should:
- Avoid websites that you think could potentially contain inappropriate content.
- Avoid clicking on any pop-ups.
- Make unique passwords for every website you create an account on. These passwords should be a mix of uppercase/lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols.
- Avoid sharing personal content on social media (like mentioned above).
- Avoid downloading any unknown material or apps.
You Should Tell Someone If:
- You're being bullied online.
- You come across inappropriate content on social media.
- A stranger is trying to contact you on social media.
