Parents as Teachers
Going Virtual!
See You Soon -- Virtually!
Our Parent Educators have been working hard on gearing up for virtual visits with you and your family! We're excited to get back into the swing of things with our families. Our virtual home visits will carry over a lot of what we do in a regular home visit, just in a different format. We'll still talk about parenting, discuss your family's well-being, and we'll do an activity together. Our activity will look a little different, as we'll be using what you have in your own homes, and you and your educator will plan the activity together.
What do you need for virtual visits?
□ Stable internet
□ Email address
One of these:
□ Computer with camera
□ Laptop with camera
□ Tablet with camera
□ Phone with camera
Your Parent Educator will reach out to you to talk more about what virtual visits will look like for you.

Staying Healthy and Safe
Having conversations with your children about what's happening can be beneficial to easing some of their fears or anxieties. As we know, children often are listening, even when we think they're not. They're picking up on the conversations we're having, radio shows, news, etc., and they may have their own questions about what's occurring. This is a great guide to giving you some help fielding some of those questions or concerns from your kiddos.
