Way To Start the Year!
On Wednesday, the Car Pool Warriors persevered in the pouring rain and directly walked students to their cars under their umbrellas. Also, Mr. Hooks jump-started a parent's car battery while it was raining!
Micro Headlines
- Mrs. Jordan will be calling parents after breakfast each day for students who need lunch money. Please help students get into the habit of turning in money first thing in the morning. Also, if a student on the low balance report by chance brought their lunch let Mrs. Jordan know. Our goal is to have 0 veggie tray and 0 charged lunches each day:)
- Do you need a new badge? Did you lose your badge? Is it damaged? Do you have a new title? Please use this link to request: New Badge
- Please turn student information cards to the front desk. We need each child to have a card in the front office. Also, please turn in any unused cards.
We are looking for innovators and risk-takers! At each monthly faculty meeting it would be awesome for two grade levels to present a planned PBL Unit. Other grade levels would complete a peer review form (which is located in the Micro PBL Shared Folder) and offer feedback. The idea is a team could email out a proposed project prior to the meeting, field clarifying/probing questions for a few minutes during the meeting, and then receive some warm and cool feedback from their colleagues. To sign up for October, email Mr. Parrish.
- Last Chance Name our Spider Campaign! Please use this link to cast your vote for our Mascot. Also, please assist students with voting. We want 100% of staff and students to vote. https://goo.gl/forms/RI9Bc4CMnwSK7So23
- September 22nd: Early Release Day at Selma Elementary. Certified staff needs to complete the following survey by Tuesday. Survey Link This is the same survey that Mrs. Kerstetter sent out. You only need to complete it once.
