Messages from Miss Angela
The next couple of weeks the campus will be abuzz with excitement. This Wednesday is our annual "Pink Out Day". We dedicate this day to serving our greater community and collecting donations for two important cancer organizations in our valley, Michelle's Place and CJ's Smile. Both non-profit organizations support families in our community. Students who choose to participate may wear as much pink as they'd like and make a donation to our efforts. The day will culminate with our two football home games at 3:30 and 4:30 p.m. There will be activities and raffles at the halftimes of each game with several different prizes including some gift boxes from Temecula Olive Oil Company. Students need to make donations in their classroom and raffle packages can also be purchased through their teacher.
Next week is Red Ribbon Week. This year's theme is "Celebrate life. Live drug-free." On Monday, students can wear any colorful shoes to school to "shoe away drugs". On Tuesday, we "partner up against drugs" with Twin Day. On Wednesday we dress for our future on Career Day. This is also an opportunity for the parents to share a presentation about their careers. Contact your teacher if you'd like to present or visit a classroom. Thursday is Minion Day because, why not? And Friday we wear red to show our commitment to living a drug-free life.
Friday, October 28th we will host our Annual VAP Family Pumpkin Showcase. (see info below)
