HSV Evening Lions Club Twinning Project
Jessieville School District was the recipient of a $1200 check from the Hot Springs Village Evening Lions Club and the North Notts Lions Club of England to be used for the purchase of a new eye testing machine.
For 15 years, the two clubs have partnered on different service projects. The two clubs have alternated selecting a service project for their home area each year with both clubs putting in about $600 towards the selected project. This year was the HSV Evening Lions Club's turn to select the project. They elected to help the Jessieville School District purchase a new piece of eye testing equipment for our students.
The attached photo is the presentation of the check for the eye testing equipment shown on the table in front of the group. The check was presented to Jessieville School Superintendent Melissa Speers. Presenting the check is the HSV Evening Lions Club president Jens Hjorth-Jensen. Jack Wells, George Parker, Karen Sterzik and Terry Sterzik were there to help make the check presentation.
