Enviormental issues of Canada
Canada has a couple of environmental issues such as acid rain, pollution of the great lakes, extraction and of natural resources on Canadian shield, and timber industry. Acid rain coal burning factories, cars, and trucks release chemicals that pollute the air. The growth of industries and cities in Canada has caused quality decline, raising concerns about the effects of using fossil fuel and acid rain. High levels of acid rain can kill trees, kill fish, and pollute lakes. Southern Canada has had the highest amount of acid precepitation. When mining with the dynamite can ruin the enviorment and can be damaged by ming with heavy machinery. Also using the heavy machinery can release chemicals into the atmophere that creates acid rain. Solutions to the predicament are to reduce the amount of mining in the canadian sheild and to reduce the amount of raw material exports, but to focus on to manufacturing cars and such. The timber industry is making citizens concerned taht it is destroying the forest. Most tree cutting industries leave huge tree gaps (clear-cutting). solutions the goverment and timber industry are managing the use of the forest.
