How Does it Affect Someone?
It causes a lot of stress and makes you go insane, you will have anxiety, fear or panic. You will also be easily irritated, have strong emotions, jitters, and trouble sleeping and eating. An example is getting nightmares that remind you of the event.
How is PTSD Diagnosed?
If you experienced a trauma and you develop symptoms that come in three months after the event.
How is it Treated?
PTSD can be treated in many ways. Normally, it doesn't go away on its own and without treatment symptoms can last for months or even years. You should start off by going to a mental health professional. You can get therapy in a safe environment and relieve your stress. You shouldn't be afraid to talk to someone, talk to an adult you trust.
