Ridgeview's RFF Days
Teacher Professional Learning on Oct 4th & November 1st
This newsletter is to share information about our Fall RFF days. Our School Governance Council (SGC) designated October 4th and November 1st as student holidays to set time aside for teacher professional learning. On these days, teachers receive training aligned to our school's key initiatives and we collaborate within and across grade levels.
With input from our teachers, a teacher committee designed workshop opportunities so that we can improve as individuals and deliver excellent instruction to our students. The 2018-2019 RFF Days are focused on building our capacity to deliver our International Baccalaureate Middle Years Program, to refine the use of personalized learning teaching techniques, and to deliver innovative literacy strategies school-wide.
These days are packed with lots of learning for teachers and staff, and the time allows teachers to improve together as professionals.
Sincerely,
The RCS Professional Learning Committee
