Jon and I have been married for 28 years. We have 3 daughters, Courtney, Kati and Lanee; two sons-in-law Matt Shull & Chad Race; two grandsons, Brody Shull and Elijah Race; and one brand new granddaughter, Sadie Mae Shull.
I am a Christ follower, and seek to honor Him in all I do. I am also a teacher-librarian, book nerd & tech geek! I love using technology and teaching teachers how to use it effectively in the classroom. I absolutely love to read and share about books I'm reading - probably my favorite thing about my job! Talking books to kids and sharing excitement over great titles are things that make teaching fun. My job as a teacher-librarian incorporates my love of technology and reading into one! It's absolutely something I love, and I constantly strive to improve and be the best I can be for my fellow teachers and my students.
My hobbies include reading (of course!) and traveling. Jon and I have been to the Caribbean twice , the Bahamas once, and Alaska, our favorite place, three times.
I have enjoyed the professional relationships I have built with my fellow ADK members through the years.
