Q: When do I need to arrive for an exam?
Please arrive no later than 12:00 pm for afternoon exams.
Q: Do I need to attend classes before or after a scheduled exam?
What if I have 2 exams in one day, how will I eat?
Q: Will transportation be provided for exams?
Transportation will NOT be provided to any morning exam. You will need to secure your own transportation to your exam and you will need to arrive prior to 7:30am.
Students taking a morning exam will be provided a shuttle bus back to Schroeder.
Students will be provided with transportation to an afternoon exam from Schroeder.
The shuttle will pick students up at the back entrance by the gym at 11:45am.
In addition, all students taking an afternoon exam will have the opportunity to take a bus home from Thomas each day. If you are a student receiving extended time, please make arrangements to get home if you test past 4:00pm.
Students driving to and from exams should be prepared to park in the designated area at Thomas High School. Please see the map for details.

Q: What should I bring to the exam?
A picture ID
Several sharpened #2 pencils and black or blue ballpoint pens. You cannot use a mechanical pencil.
An AP authorized calculator if taking Biology, Calculus, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Physics or Statistics Exams
A ruler or straightedge if taking a Physics Exam
Your Chromebook and charger if you are taking Computer Science Principles
Your AP ID number
Q: What else should I know?
Food and/or drinks may only be consumed during the ten-minute break between parts of the exam.
Purses, cell phones, backpacks or any other personal items must be left at the designated spot at the exam site. They will not be permitted at student desks.
Cell phones must remain turned off until students are dismissed from the exam.
After the exam, students must not discuss multiple choice questions with anyone, including their AP teacher, and they may not discuss free response questions with anyone until 48 hours after the exam. Students who communicate exam questions by any means will have their exam grades canceled.
Room temperatures fluctuate over the course of an exam. Please dress in layers to remain comfortable.

Most exams will given at Webster Thomas High School with one exception:
- The Spanish Language and Culture will be administered at Schroeder High School in the Library.
Music Theory is given in the auditorium at Thomas High School
Students receiving testing accommodations at Thomas will go directly into the field house and wait by the vending machines.
Proctors will pick you up to take you to the the specific room where you will be taking the exam.
Teachers will review exam details with their students.
