Colin Powell

Intro
The shot of a gun was the only sound that could get Sargent Colin Powell off his bunk and into action. Then on the floor he saw a wounded comrade bleeding from a bullet that struck him in the chest.
Early LIfe
Colin Powell was born on April fifth 1937 in Bronix New York. With one sister. His parents were immigrants from Jamaica. He grew up with little friends and not seeing his dad very often.
Adult Life
When Colin Powell went to collage in North Bronix He joined there R.O.T.C program. Later he was sent to Vietnam to fight in the war. That is where he lost his best friend. He was struck in the chest by a bullet. He was the first black man to become a Four star general. George W Bush anointed security of state.
Legacy
Colin Powell is remembered for being the first black man to Join a R.O.T.C program. Hes is also the first black man to become a 4 star general. George W Bush anointed security of state. People nominated him for president multiple times.
