GRASP is a correspondence program for grades K to 8 which helps students maintain reading and math skills while they are on summer break.
Children receive a packet of materials with a booklet containing 9 lessons. It takes approximately one hour to complete each lesson. Students submit one lesson a week starting June 10th through August 5th which is the final submissions deadline. Students mail the lessons to GRASP in provided envelopes where they are scored and returned to the children with comments.
We also have an online version of GRASP for students in 4th to 8th Grade. These students will receive feedback immediately.
Children successfully completing at least 7 lessons with 70% accuracy are awarded a certificate. Those successfully completing all 9 lessons with 70% accuracy receive a medal!
Certificates and medals will be distributed by your school.
When registering, select the grade your child is just completing so they review material they learned. If your child is ahead or behind a grade level, order the appropriate level. The fees for the summer of 2024 are $41 for one subject or $63 for both subjects for each child. You can enroll your child by clicking one of the links below. REGISTRATION ENDS APRIL 24, 2024.
All materials or login information will be sent home with the child by the last week of school.
PARENT BLOCKSI ACCOUNTS

EARLY RELEASE POLICY
We understand that sometimes you may need to pick up your student before the end of the day.
We ask that you call us once you arrive and are parked out front where we can see your car. There is no need to call prior to your arrival.
· For 5th Grade, call: 248-449-1250
· For 6th Grade, call: 248-449-1270
Once you call us, we will then locate your student and have them come out to meet you. You do not need to come inside the building.
Please allow for extra time, as It may take a considerable amount of time for your student to gather their belongings and come to the main office because of where they are located in the complex.
Your student will be asked to identify your car before they come out.
Students being picked up at the end of the day must be picked up before 2:00 PM, because the office is extremely busy during this time.
Parents arriving after 2:00 PM will need to wait in the parent pick up line for their student.
PLEASE CALL THE OFFICE WHEN YOUR STUDENT IS ABSENT
For 5th grade: 248-449-1251
For 6th grade: 248-449-1271
In addition, please remember to spell your student's first and last name, the reason for the absence, and their homeroom teacher if you know it.
EARLY RELEASE - Students leaving before the end of the day need to be picked up before 2 p.m. Please call the MAIN OFFICE (5TH 248-449-1250, 6TH 248-449-1270) no more than 15 minutes before you arrive to let us us know you will be picking your student up so that we may have your child ready to go.
