Upcoming Opportunities
State Department Virtual Summer Exchange Program
The San Diego Diplomacy Council is working with World Learning to promote a really cool opportunity for high school students. It is a free, Department of State virtual summer exchange program with high school students from the U.S. and the Middle East. This is an awesome thing to put on college applications, especially for students who may have other summer obligations but have an interest in international relations. Can you share this opportunity with your students? Applications are due Monday, May 20.
The program runs for eight weeks this summer, from June 24 – August 18, 2019. The exchanges take place online, so students can participate from anywhere. More info on the program including application link can be found here.
