Community - Local Library English Programs
While there are many free online apps, your local library may provide you free access to extensive language programs. Check out the Library Technology website for a list of libraries (physical buildings and virtual) near you to ask about free language programs for children and adults.
ESL is an English language instruction program provided by ESL certified teachers who are trained in effective second language acquisition methods. The goal of ESL programs is for Emergent Bilingual (EB) students to attain English proficiency. The information below highlights the process of identifying students into the ESL Program.

Parents of High School Students - FAFSA
Have a senior? In Texas, all students must submit a financial aid application to graduate.
Every year, billions of financial aid dollars go unclaimed. Texas students miss out onroughly $300 million in free money each year by simply not enrolling in college. Texas’
new graduation requirement gives students an extra push to get these funds and pursue
education or training after high school.
Families play an important role in the financial aid process. Not only do students benefit
from motivation at home, but many students will need to report parental information on
their application.
While applying for financial aid can seem confusing, we are here to help you through the
process. Check your email regularly for updates from the counseling department, and use
these resources to help you get ready for the next steps:
