A Message from Proud Principal, Laura Clark
Wow! What an amazing STEM Night! I loved seeing our students and their parents engaged in the STEM Night activities. Students were posed with a problem where they had to plan, create, and solve. Part of being a problem solver is realizing that your plan may need to be revised. When our students are engaged in problem solving learning they realize the process is just as important as the end result.
Shifting to a different topic...We are often reminded of our purpose and the opportunity we have to make an impact. After hearing of the recent tragedy involving basketball legend Kobe Bryant and 8 other passengers, I was reminded that our time on earth is short. Each of us has a purpose and those of us who are parents and educators our most important purpose is to INSPIRE our next generation. I tell my kiddos, who are now 17 and 20, that my purpose is to ensure they become productive citizens and give back. As educators, we do the same thing. We pour into each and every student who walks through the doors of Parsons ES "so that they can be great in whatever they want to do". We know that our students will be the next doctors, engineers, educators, entrepreneurs, inventors, parents, and leaders of our society.
Proud to be your Principal,
Mrs. Clark
