Random HACKS of Kindness (Coding Opportunity)
Random Hacks of Kindness Jr, Inc. a nonprofit agency that provides elementary and middle school children (specifically 4th -8th grade) the opportunity to come together as problem solvers and innovators to make the world a better place, will be hosting two events this spring.
The first event is being held at Trinity College in Hartford, CT on Saturday, April 25th from 8:30 am - 4:00 pm. The second event is being held at Westover School, in Middlebury, CT on Sunday, May 24th from 8:30 am - 4:00 pm.
Both events will offer elementary school students in fourth through eighth grade from across Connecticut the opportunity to explore the power of computing by developing technical solutions to practical problems. Participants will collaborate with technology mentors (university professors, college students, high school teachers and students) and local subject matter experts to create smart phone apps, websites, or educational games to help local causes.
