- Lesson 8 & 9 work ^_^
- Lesson 10 writing assignment
- Lesson 10 cultural discussion, plus the 2 comments.
Don't forget:
- to attend your coaching sessions at your scheduled time and days WEEKLY (twice a week!) 20% of your grade.
- to work on your End of Course PROJECT daily! (Due in Dec) Go to the "End of Course Project" tab to the left and start now if you have not already done so.
- to take all your quizzes for each lesson 8-9, and retake any that you score low on to improve your grade.
- to keep your eye on the Calendar for this class (due to due dates being different from previous lessons),
- to keep your eyes on your grades! Submit anything missing NOW. (Don't wait until the last minute!)

- L10 Speaking Assignment DUE TODAY!
- **Here are the directions again for the speaking assignment, please make sure you have all of the following:
- Step 1: (What to have on your PowerPoint/Presentation):
Create 4 questions in Japanese using the following:- What is your hobby?
- Is your hobby _______?
- Is your hobby _______ and ________?
- Is your friend’s hobby ___________?
- Use PowerPoint:What's your hobby-Name.ppt
- Save Your PowerPoint As: “What are your hobbies? NAME”
- (If you can't access PowerPoint, you can use OpenOffice.org, please text me if you can't use either.)
- Step 1: (What to have on your PowerPoint/Presentation):
- Step 2: (On your PowerPoint/Presentation)
- Complete the title slide with your name.
- The area where it says your classmate’s name, leave that alone for one of your classmate’s to fill out.
- In each slide (1-4), have each of the above questions listed on each slide (1 question per slide).
- Have the question and audio recording at the top of the page, and a picture that would go with each slide placed in the middle.
- One of your classmate’s will be answering your question, and will be posting it at the bottom part of each slide.
- You need to write the questions in Japanese on your PowerPoint slides and also have your audio recording on there as well. (If you need to post audio separate that is fine! ^o^)
- Step 3: (Posting your PowerPoint/Presentation)
- After you have completed the entire PowerPoint, save the file as: “What are your hobbies? NAME”
- After recording, Before posting your PowerPoint, please check it to make sure it all works.
- Then post your PowerPoint to the discussion board, Assignment 10.1.

- Reply to one post by doing the following:
- Listen to one of your classmate(s) PowerPoint File
- Answer the four questions in Japanese that they have in their presentation on their PowerPoint/presentation
- When answering the questions of your classmate’s questions you must use both of the following at least once in your answers in Japanese:
- No, it is not.
- No, my hobby is not __________.
- Type in your name on the first slide (under “your classmate’s name”)
- Type the answers to the questions in the spaces provided and use the audio in the PowerPoint in order to record your answers to your classmate’s questions.
- Save file as “What are NAME’s hobbies?”( NAME=Your name)
- Repost the file onto your partner’s form.
- Listen to other classmate’s recordings and comment to their (answer) posts.
- ***(Make sure if you answer your classmate's PowerPoint as "hai" or "iie", you need to make it is in a complete sentence, by saying "No, it's not." or "Yes, it is." or "No it's not drawing." etc.)
