Meadowbrook Buzz with Mr. Bell
March comes in like a lion and out like a lamb...at least, I hope so!! We started this month feeling like winter, but with so many exciting events approaching, it will feel like spring soon.
Meadowbrook's Read-a-Thon hosted by the MFFA was an incredible success. Students read 29,327 minutes and we are close to meeting our goal of raising $15,000 which would result in a school wide pajama day! Families can still contribute for one more week. This month we continue to encourage a love of reading with Read Across America Week and Author Day.
St. Patrick's Day is approaching, which means some leprechauns will be bouncing around and causing trouble throughout the hallways. If your child comes home with a story about a messy classroom, believe it!
Please take note of the early dismissal on March 11th and also remember that on March 19th, Marking Period 2 report card grades are available in the Parent Portal.
Lastly, I hope to see everyone at the Blue Jean Ball on Thursday, March 28th!
