Davenport's Weekly Update
Week of April 7th, 2024
MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL
Greetings Davenport Families,
"Finish strong. You never know who you're inspiring." Unknown
The return from Spring break was a refreshing start for everyone, full of renewed energy and enthusiasm. The week back was packed with engaging activities, including learning about the solar eclipse, reinforcing the importance of SOARing, and participating in Autism Awareness Spirit Week.
As we enter the final stretch of the school year, there's much excitement with upcoming events such as field trips, character education assemblies, STEAM week, and preparations for NJSLA testing for our current 3rd-grade students. We're all eager and determined to finish the school year strong.
Have a great weekend!
Principal White

Ms. Mehzabin's class enjoyed practicing yoga and mindfulness.
Mrs. Pratt's 2nd grade students had fun working with partners this week.
Mr. Aponte had his kindergarten students' undivided attention in theater this week, as did Mrs. Goodman as she read to her students during library.
Miss Blazer led Ms. Bush's students in reviewing their colors
