Question of the Day!
Congratulations to Ms. Orris' class for being the question of the day winners for last week! Keep answering those questions by dropping off your response in the box in the 4 corners. Who knows?! Your class may be the winners this week!

If you use your GUSD Google account to send non-school related emails or to email the whole school, your account will be suspended and you may have further consequences. If somebody includes you in a group email, don't respond to it. That can also get your account suspended. Just let an adult know.

Mindfulness Moment
The month of April is dedicated to practicing mindful decision making. When we are mindful about the choices we make, the decision-making process becomes a thoughtful, cognitive exercise, rather than an impulsive reaction to immediate needs.
“Always make decisions that prioritize your inner peace.”
We should always make decisions that feed our souls and bring us tranquility.
Chromebook Tip of the Week!
Is your Chromebook charged but won't turn on? Before you go to the library, try holding the power button and the escape key for 10 seconds or until the blue light turns off. Then try turning the Chromebook back on and that should reset it.
Visit the Wilson Student Help Corner Website where you can find video tutorials answering your frequently asked questions about apps used in your classrooms. We also have tutorials in Armenian and Spanish.

Digital Citizenship Tip of the Week!
A few reminders:
Use privacy settings on your social network pages. Don't use public posting.
Protect your friends' privacy as well as yours.
Use the Golden Rule online - treat others the way you want to be treated.
The website plagiarism.org describes this well - plagiarism is an act of fraud. It involves both stealing someone else's work and lying about it afterward. All of the following are considered acts of plagiarism:
turning in someone else's work as your own
copying words or ideas from someone else without giving credit
failing to put a quote in quotation marks
giving incorrect information about the source of a quotation
changing words but copying the sentence structure of a source without giving credit
copying so many words or ideas from a source that it makes up the majority of your work, whether you give credit or not.
