We are thrilled to announce our students in grades 3-5 have completed the SBA testing. The students all did a remarkable job and they should be very proud of themselves for using their strategies and exhibiting perseverance as they embarked on each task.
For the next two weeks, our students in Grades K-5 will be completing our district trimester 3 iReady testing. Again, we hope students will not be absent during the testing period, except for illness, and that they continue to strive to do their very best!
Please continue to:
- Have your child arrive to school on time
- Provide your child with a nutritious breakfast
- Set a healthy routine to ensure your child gets plenty of sleep
We all do better when we are well rested, well fed and prepared for the day. Your partnership in ensuring your child's success makes a huge difference in their performance and we thank you!
As always, we continue to strive to make Middlebrook School the best that it can be for our students, staff and parent community. Please take a moment to complete our
End of Year Safe School Climate Survey:

This survey data helps us to determine the growth we have made this year; taking time to celebrate our successes and set goals for further improvement. We truly appreciate you taking the time to complete the survey and we value your feedback.
Principal for the Day
One School One Book update
This week's reading was filled with many challenges for Roz and Brightbill. Our first chapter The Strange Family starts off with Brightbill's discovery about who Roz is and the truth about his family. Then, Roz is attacked by the bear cubs and ends up with a new foot, and Brightbill has to leave the island and migrate with the flock. Roz and the island animals battle the fierce winter with more lodges and fires to keep warm, but too many logs are placed on one fire pit causing one lodge to burn down. The island animals recognize Roz for what she is - a friend.
