Advertising Posters Galore!
"The BEST Winter Pageants Ever"
Our Classroom Parody!
After completing the story, 'The Worst, BEST Christmas Pageant Ever," students began their journey into script writing, casting, creating sets, props, and costumes, and of course, practicing their lines.
The final step is advertisement. Students are now working on their own, creating a teaser movie poster for their individual plays that they have written. Students have the title, a partial setting, some sort of teaser, and yes, a character from the play is also included.
Students will demonstrate creativity, use of space, conventions, and the elements of a real movie poster.
