The Hasty Howler
May- Parent Engagement Newsletter
From the Principal - Dr. Rosario-Regan
I am in amazement that we are here in May with only 20 days left of school. I want to extend a huge THANK YOU to our parents, students, and teachers for seeing this year to a close. We appreciate everyone’s part in helping our students have the best possible learning opportunities this school year. It has been a fantastic one, indeed filled with a lot of learning, growth, and memorable experiences.
Please take the opportunity this summer to visit the library with your scholar and borrow books that will encourage the love of reading. Our scholars have grown tremendously in reading this year and we don’t want all that learning to be lost. Ms. Shipp, Ms. Tatum, and Ms. Lester, in conjunction with the library, are hosting Teacher Tuesdays at R.T. Jones Public Library. You do not want to miss it!
Lasty, it has been a privilege to serve as the principal of Hasty Elementary this year. I look forward to serving our scholars alongside you next year. I am very proud of our teachers and the excellent efforts they have demonstrated this school year. Thank you, again, for a successful and memorable 2021-2022 school year!
