Women in Engineering Day at UVA
Every spring, high school students from all over Virginia visit UVA to experience what it's like to be an engineering student at UVA. They spend the day taking part in lab tours, majors fair, design activities, and a professional panel. These events give the students a look at the different engineering fields as well as the engineering design process, and can help the students decide if they would like to pursue STEM in the future.
While we have previously held HSV virtually due to Covid-19, 2022 HSV is planned to be an in-person event with precautions in place. However, SWE @ UVA is monitoring the situation, and it is possible that 2022 HSV will be moved online. If this is the case, we will notify applicants prior to March 25, 2022.
