TOGETHER - Mustang Award
Our Mustang theme this year is "Together". Let's continue the recognition and thank yous. Each week we've enjoyed sharing the recipients for the TOGETHER award. Recipients receive this award because of the spirit of togetherness they've demonstrated to help McBride continue to be strong. You may nominate staff from McBride, staff from St. Helens School District, parents from McBride, community members from McBride/St. Helens - anyone that demonstrates working 'together' to help McBride continue to be the incredible school and community that it is. You may pick up a "Together" nomination form in the office or email Mrs. Tyler (lisat@sthelens.k12.or.us).
This week's award recipients......
Mr. Hirning's Sixth Grade Homeroom Class - Mr. Hirning's homeroom class was nominated for the TOGETHER Award because they are responsible, kind and have shown respect to guest teachers. This is not the first time they have been complimented so it was time to show them recognition for their continued respect to each other and to adults.
Ms. Harkins - Mrs. Harkins, one of our Special Education Teachers, is nominated again for her going out of her way to support students at McBride. Her nomination this week read, "She made my day. It was kind of like when a fire fighter rushes into a burning building when everyone else rushed out." Thank you, Ms. Harkins.
Miss Warren - Miss Warren was nominated for this award because she stepped up to represent McBride on our Quality Assessment Practices District Instructional Learning Team. Thank you, Miss Warren, for your willingness to step up to provide professional development for your peers.
Jared Plahn & Paul Connelly - McBride has had some maintenance issues with the staff restrooms this week and we appreciate their hard work analyzing the problem and working to fix it. Thank you!!!
Tracie O'Day - Tracie works in our District Accounts Payable Department. She has been so patient this year assisting Mrs. Tyler and Mrs. Cade in all questions and transactions that need to be made. We appreciate her knowledge of purchasing and paying out as well as her spending time with us helping us to increase our understanding. Thank you, Tracie!
