Our Lady of Fatima FIRST SEMESTER Events Calendar
Friday Spirit Days
Friday's are "Spirit Day." Scholars may wear jeans and a school approved Falcon Spirit shirt on Fridays. The spirit shirt must be purchased from the school appointed spirit store, Squadlocker or one of our "gently used" shirts from our school uniform shop. There will be some Fridays that we label as "theme" days which will be on our events calendar. If your scholar does not have a school approved spirit shirt then regular uniform must be worn.
College Shirt Day!
Our 1st Theme Day Friday will be Friday, September 18th. The Theme is: College Football Kick-off Day! Scholars can wear jeans and a COLLEGE spirit shirt on this day. If a college shirt is not available, then a Falcon Spirit shirt may be worn, or regular uniform.
Mass Day
At this time, we still do not feel that it is safe to take the students to Mass at the parish each week. We want to make sure that the health and safety standards and parish capacity limits are met with care. Starting next week, we will be LIVE STREAMING Mass on Wednesday so that our students are still able to watch Mass at least once a week. On Wednesday, students may wear FULL MASS uniform if they want, but at this time, they will not be required to do so. Thank you for being patient as we work to ensure that our scholars' health and safety is first. We hope to return to the parish and physically attend Mass in the near future.
Hurricane Laura
As one of our Corporal Works of Mercy Projects, our campus will be hosting a Hurricane Laura Drive. More information will be coming soon regarding items that can be brought. Our goal as a campus will be to have 100% of students bring at least (3) eligible items to donate to aid Hurricane Laura victims. If 100% of our student body reaches their goal, we will have a school-wide ice cream/popsicle party. Please look for more information to come next week!
Technology Reminder
Student technology that is checked-out is part of their required curriculum. It is imperative that all students bring back ALL school-issued technology. This includes ipads, chargers, and headphones. Failure to do so prevents students from having their proper materials in class when needed. Please help your scholar by reminding them to bring back items in a timely manner.
